Uzbekistan and Germany intend to open a school of technologists for the textile industry
Uztekstilprom and Germany agreed to open a School of Textile Equipment Technologists. The agreement was signed within the framework of the Days of German Textile Technologies, which started on February 7.
The German company Textima Export Import will be a partner of the future school. Equipment suppliers from Germany will help organize training, retraining and advanced training for technologists of local enterprises. They will be trained to work effectively with the new equipment.
The project is being implemented as part of the initiative to transform the textile industry of Uzbekistan. It was launched jointly with the German Confederation of Engineering Companies (Gesamtmasche).
In addition, Uztekstilprom signed a cooperation agreement with Textima Export Import. The head of the association, Ilkhom Khaidarov, noted the contribution of German suppliers to the development of the textile industry and the increase in processing volumes ninefold in ten years.
