One of the main topics for negotiations was “promising projects” in the areas of textiles and fiber processing.

A memorandum of partnership with the head of the State Textile Corporation of Afghanistan Abdul Hamid Ahundzad was signed. The ceremony was attended by the head of the Prime Minister Anvar Ul-hack, ministers of finance, economics, mining and oil.

Vahabov also visited the industrial zone in Kandahar. He discussed the possibilities of creating joint ventures on the basis of local capacities, restoration and restoration of equipment produced in Uzbekistan.

The parties agreed on the implementation of projects for the processing of at least 50 thousand tons of cotton. Afghanistan will export cotton yarn to Uzbekistan, and in the opposite direction it is planned to supply painted fabrics for sewing clothes.
