In Uzbekistan, an agency for the development of light industry was created - president

The agency is responsible for the textile, leather and silk industry. Under him, a fund will be created for $ 200 million.

The meeting noted the need for special approaches to the development of the textile industry in the context of a quick change in world trade rules and ongoing interruptions in logistics.

In this regard, the president announced the creation of an agency for the development of light industry, which will be responsible for the textile, leather and silk industry.

The new structure will be headed by the First Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Nozimzhon Holmurodov. The agency will create a council consisting of experienced entrepreneurs.

The department will receive a separate fund through which state support will be provided, as well as available working capital for textile enterprises. The fund will be allocated $ 200 million.

Earlier, Spot wrote that all cotton manufacturers will receive subsidies - 1 million soums per ton.
