Support measures for farmers, clusters, and finished goods producers have been announced

Under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a meeting is being held on issues of socio-economic development of the Andijan region, support for entrepreneurship, and increasing the income of the population.

At the meeting, support measures for farmers, clusters, and manufacturers of finished products were announced.

Both the farmer who sold cotton on the exchange and the cluster that bought it will be provided with a subsidy of 500 thousand soums for each ton. Clusters that grew cotton on their own land will receive a subsidy of 1.5 million soums per hectare.

Responsible officials have been instructed to submit calculations within three years for compensating part of the interest on loans to exporters of finished products in foreign currency exceeding 5 percent, and on loans in national currency exceeding 14 percent.

Proposals will also be prepared on the issue of returning 3 percent of the value of products sold through marketplaces.
